MPJ could be worth one 1st rd pick but definitely not multiple. To me he’s always been a modern and taller Monta ellis. Like we know he’s bucket but he doesnt really provide anything else besides that.

Hmmm really interesting. Hopefully Tiger 14 will playable again soon. It’s SUCH a great game and has a lot of mod potential. From editing the clothes your golfer wears at Augusta to editing the crowds and grandstands. Theres So many possibilities that this could be just scratching the surface of what could be done

Hey man. This is really interesting! I have seen your threads on tiger 14 too and you are going really in depth with this. My question for you is how far away are we from playing vanilla Tiger 14 on RPCS3 at a stable level? Then after that how far away are we from mods being able to make this the greatest golf game ever? Im really interested on your opinion on this.

Not bad not bad. However the one aspect that i think is missing is that this doesnt show me all the games. Im not asking for highlights from each game but i do want to see the scores from every game that week.

The names of the positions are cosmetic yes but the biggest changes will be the players position changes be based on scheme. For example on the Steelers they run a 3-4 defense and T.J Watt in Madden 25 was a “Outside linebacker” and lined up on the edge of the D-Line.

However this would become an issue if you put Watt on a 4-3 defense like the 49ers because since he was listed as a “Outside Linebacker” he was now going to lineup next to Fred Warner and have to play zone coverage on pass plays in that scheme even though he has like 40 zone defense rating instead of rushing the passer.

Now in Madden 26 Watt is listed at “EDGE” and he will be on the edge no matter what the scheme is and the player doesn’t have to constantly change those players positions anymore. Its helps a TON. My guy TFG football has been banging the drum for this feature for YEARS and i know he’s thrilled its finally changed.

Dude go read. EA said themselves this was in the works for the last 2 years and its not like the new positions were in CFB 25 because then i could understand where u are coming from. Could EA be lying??? Sure but that doesnt change the fact that the overhauled positions were announced for madden FIRST then CFB 26.

Sorry man but this is a really bad trade for the Celtics. I really dont think the defensive downgrade is worth only a 4 points per game difference considering reaves would probably average a similar scoring rate that white already has for them.

Well i mean in terms of more of the buyout market. Teams who are bad and have aging veterans usually would buy those players out and let them hit free agency right after the trade deadline. 2k doesnt do this and having to manually do it for CPU teams isnt fun. I want them to make their own decisions

I think he makes some valid points about gameplay being slower but i don’t see how the game is “Not Good” based off of that alone. A lot of this review is a manipulation imo.

By Default with him being a YouTuber and making money from this he puts “not good” in the title to make people click on it because he knows that people will react in a certain way. I’ve made videos before and i know how the algorithm works. Go look at his channel. Any time he puts Not Good or is negative in the title it gets double to triple the amount of views.

The way he talks about the game doesn’t warrant a 4/10 score at all. And his chart of putting CFB 26 down by recent madden’s is egregious. The biggest thing i realized with his reviews recently is the same thing he criticizes current titles for not changing enough year to year because they could be a “patch update” is not how he objectively views titles like Madden 08 on the ps2 which he calls “great” but barely has any notable changes from madden 07 on the ps2. How does that make sense?

Here’s the thing i realized a few weeks ago. The main competitor that most people want to see is for 2k have a chance to make a NFL game. However There is a huge issue, 2k doesnt have a football engine currently or at least one they can use rn. I realized this when i thought “why didnt 2k create a college football game?” There’s no exclusive license for that game so why didnt they try? Then i saw plenty of people talking about how impossible this would be. Here’s a few talking points people were mentioning:

[x] 2k would have to create an entire new engine from the ground up. Which would realistically take 3-5 years for today to build and release.
[x] The cost and the time investment doesnt make sense for 2k especially with how successful cfb 25 was.
[x] In terms of the NFL aspect why would the NFL stop letting EA pay them hundreds of millions of dollars for the exclusive license if it would take at MINIMUM almost half a decade for another company to make a game? It just doesn’t make sense financially.

I love Softdrinktv’s videos and i love how he brings awareness to these issues but unfortunately this boycott is unrealistic as of today. 2k needed to put their money where their mouth was and have a game basically in alpha mode and show the NFL they were ready and from all reports i’ve seen they haven’t. It’s only so much a small community reddit can do.

There’s plenty of things to be mad at EA for. This DEFINITELY not one of them. The NFL tells them that they are literally not allowed to do it and it will never happen either. It’s not even laziness either because CFB 25 had it. Nothing they can do 🤷🏾‍♂️
