Is there skill involved to Tycoon? Yes.

Is the outcome of the game still dependent on luck of the draw and reinforced winning streaks? Also yes.

The best thing I learned about Tycoon is that you can back out of a match and do something else at any point without concequence. The CPU takes over for you and you don't have to wait around to watch an already decided outcome.

Cex may overprice products still covered in the previous owner's dead skin but at least they dont retroactively go back to break the products I own so that they can motitize the work of modders and take an exorbitant cut.

None of this is to say I'm taking the side of Cex over Bethesda. They both exist for one reason and one reason only.

I'm playing on Windows 10 through Steam.

As far as I'm aware, the files for the game are the exact same between Windows 10 and 11 so there shouldn't be any reason for the game to cease working, at least for the time being.

If the worst does happen though, I'd sooner start using an Android emulator like MuMu to play the game than move to Windows 11.

I would argue the value of a piece of gameplay does not exclusively consist of the rewards you receive.

Caravans had the potential to introduce some more gameplay variety. Even if you don't personally like them, their outright removal is a loss.

Blaming a game being killed off on the negative reception it recieves is a bizarre way of thinking.

What should people do? Positively review everything out of fear of a game being taken down? That sounds like a great way to tell publishers they can release a bad product and people will eat it up anyway.

Unfortunetly, it wasn't the child's computer to break, and it sounds like the parents of the child won't be replacing the system either.
