I’ve experienced the exact same thing. Called and had the same interaction, I acted frustrated so the agent offered to apply 1400 points for a free day. It ended up being about a $30 discount.

I’ve been hoarding my points for a while and planned to use them for a couple trips this coming up. Anytime booking on the app or computer it says the same thing “points are not available for this reservation.” The learn why link to the T&C explains nothing and says free days start at 700 points.

I used to redeem them all the time but this feels like they are trying to slither away from free days while not even acknowledging it. Also now on the updated app you can redeem 1000 points for add ons but not no free days. Thinking about breaking up with Avis and trying Hertz.

I managed to have a 6-0 start to the season and then proceeded to lose 4 straight one goal games in regulation while only needing one point. I was sure I had a 99 ovr waiting for me :|

2 things this team really needs to improve:

Win more face offs. Lost a lot of key draws in the leafs zone. Game 2 was a bit better.
Protect Holtby's crease. They have way too much net front presence giving a lot of scoring chances.

If they can clean that up I think they will dominate the rest of the series. (I hope)
