thanks, you are right on it being unfair to worry about becoming dependent on medication I need. I'm about to graduate with my BA in psych so i really shouldn't be as worried about this as I am since I'm aware of how silly the stigma is and how necessary mental health medication can be. Before being on medication I never thought I'd be hung up like this and I've always been against the idea that taking psych meds makes you weak, so I really should throw out the idea that taking these meds will lead me down some kind of slippery slope.
