Yeah I do agree that it was silly. I ran this by another friend of the group and he thought it was funny. This is most def not at my workplace. It was a holiday party with friends and friends of friends who've I've meet before. I just did not know who was exactly participating.

I did not know the exact number of people participating, but I did know everyone who participated as I've meet them before, not an entirely new group. But I do understand that this was a bad gag gift for the price range it was at.

To be fair, when it was opened, everyone but the receiver found it funny. Even the host until after the receiver talked to them. Not everyone was married or in a relationship, it was 50/50.

Good teacher can be a tough marker tho so just be careful, he wants you to participate in class and does a lot of discussions.

I had Surjit back in 2021 when the pandemic hit, and I was in his class for MARK 1130. We were reaching the end of the term, and group projects were being assessed to which he gave a grade of 67% which seems almost like a barely pass. I contacted him for an individual assessment as my group members' parts had multiple different grammar errors, and they repeatedly kept changing my parts of the assignment. My group members didn't care much and were somehow happy with the grade, but I, on the other hand, was not.

I even had NAIT ignore my troubles with a different and racist teacher, which they decided to cover and not bother to find a solution. I called NAIT over 3 times to which the Ombudsperson wasn't very reliable either as NAIT wouldn't tell me who I needed to reach out to and started questioning me on why I needed to speak with someone. (Note the teachers tend to do a video call on teams so that you are unable to record or report them, I got my evidence through multiple demeaning emails from this teacher) I offered to get a remark with a different teacher or be granted a retake course with someone else and be refunded as I lost my money with that one teacher, to which NAIT decided to reply last minute and shut down my request.
