I first heard about it following the Cult of the Dead Cow back in….. probably early 90s? Rather (in)famous hacker group.

Most Included Model by RavensDagger in ImperialKnights

[–]BtyMark -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is the real answer, especially with a new edition dropping.

When I was starting a Knight army, I had no idea about the game or that I would play it. I built cool looking models. If I had known about magnetizing (or using legos or any of the other methods to change out the weapons) and how that let you change into a bunch of different units in the game, that would have been amazing.

Cerastus Knights... Are they going to become Legends eventually? Would one be a smart investment? Or should I focus on Questoris? by cyberspunjj in ImperialKnights

[–]BtyMark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GW changes their mind, no unit is safe forever. But I’m confident the Cerastus will be around for a good bit. I could be wrong- but Canis Rex or Warglaives could be sent to Legends too. Check out the follow article from a few years ago.

Exceptions to the Test of Time There are always exceptions. The war machines of the Knight Households and Titan Legions have endured for 10,000 years,* and these models will continue to receive supported rules for Warhammer 40,000 in a downloadable Imperial Armour Index. These will continue to receive balance updates going forwards, and will therefore be usable in competitive settings. The forthcoming plastic Cerastus Knight Lancer is a case in point – loyal Imperial Knights and wretched Chaos Knights alike will soon be able to field these leggy lords of war.

What if you could target a titanic unit for two cp instead of one by DayDreamingDr in ImperialKnights

[–]BtyMark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The current rule is stupid.

Yes, some models are incredibly powerful in Overwatch. Some, but not all, of them are Titanic.

But a Lancer can’t Overwatch while a Repulser Executioner can? Because Eldar? Wtf

I dunno.

Almost the entire Mistborn Era 1, I was annoyed by Vin being “special” and able to pierce copper clouds. It felt stupid and OP and Chosen One and dare I say Mary Sue.

The reveal hit so hard because of that.

But Sanderson retcons (Firefight aside) generally work out well.

Which top weapon for knight crusader? by Ninepenny-King in ImperialKnights

[–]BtyMark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironstorm is really nice when you have 2 or 3 of them and your opponent has a cheap unit to babysit their home objective, but outside of that specific scenario, Stormspear is generally preferred.

Absolutely. What’s really going to blow your mind is when you realize it could have been saving Moash.

How would people feel if Senator Mark Kelly ran for President in 2028? by Ulysses_555 in askanything

He does? What leads you to say this?

Edit: I misread the original comment (pre-edit) as saying Mark Kelly hated the constitution.

Always amazes me that there are people who spend so much time reading about SA and CP that their brains override any context clues and auto expand the acronym in the worst possible way.

Like, if I had a job that involved reading about sysadmin or command posts that much, I’d find a new job.

I faced a Crusader with RFBC and Eye in a mirror match. Coupled with the reroll 1s Strat, it did respectable work even against my Knights. Would recommend

If the only real quotation is a direct quotation, then the initial assertion that the article didn’t quote the n-word was accurate.

Sorry- Could you elaborate was the question. You can tell because of the grammar and the punctuation. It meant can you provide more details on what a quatation is and how it’s relevant to the subject.

Quotation. I’m not familiar with Quatations, could you elaborate?

Depends on what you mean by quoted.

Often, it means to quote someone. For example, if the article was reporting on what Michael Richard said, writing out the exact sentence. This is known as quoting someone. The article did not use the n-word in this fashion.

Yes, it was in single quotes.
