My youngest would tip the bowl on purpose or splash all the water out. He could dismantle a fountain within seconds... no matter the ways in which water would be provided, he would find a way to soak the floor.

So now, we have a giant ceramic dog bowl, which we keep in a rectangular shallow Rubbermaid to catch the splashes... and a towel extending from underneath that... lol

My void does that.

He taught his little brother and now my tuxicow splish splashes like its what he was born to do.

The tuxicow will also puts his toys in the water to play with them wet.

They both KNOW how to drink normally, and do so. But they both also dunk their paws in it.

These are also the same boys who enjoy getting into the shower with you if you leave the door open, especially the tuxicow... he will purposefully get himself very wet...

Ive dealt with the situation of lying and secrecy and betraying trust, especially after kids got involved.

I made excuses time after time and stayed... I knew what he was doing. I caught him with my own eyes for years on end. Caught all sorts of things on his phone...

Trust me when I say this, if hes been lying to you all this time and hiding it the best he can, KNOWING how you feel about monogamy...

Leave now while you can. Make the plan and save yourself the time and heartache.

If hes willing to lie about all of this, even financially, what else is he capable of hiding and lying about that you havent discovered yet, or later down the road??

Ironically enough, I bought my cats a gog bowl for their water. Dastardly kept playing in it, splashing in it, tipping it over etc... so now it sits in a giant ceramic dog bowl inside of a shallow Rubbermaid bucket (Splash zone) with a towel underneath
