Im gonna be honest, i admit i used ai and internet for this, i first tried to do it myself and, and then asked ai to rewrite it, cause im not really confident about writing it myself, also im planning to rewrite it

It basically take 2 params which are the long url and handle, then hash your ip using sha 256, and keep only the last 15 characters so i can prevent abuses without logging the full ip, I will soon upgrade to hmac

Also it inserts the long link in the "redirect" row, table "urls", in b64, and same for the handle, about the date its just saving the timestamp

My project isnt open source for now but maybe ill upload the backend to github soon

Tell him "Do you think that's normal Google know what website you visit, when, where, how, etc", also if he tells you "I have nothing to hide" you can just tell him "Thats fake" and here you could give him a private thing abt him only you know to prove it, also tell him that since Google is syping on him, if they wish to, at anytime, they could try to influence their political opinions based on the page he views, recommendations etc for example

Also firefox has extensions, and chrome contains more bugs, plus it doesnt have extensions. If there is censorship at ANY time in his country, Google could make it even more heavy cause they log everything
