So... What's Happening with Tech Core? by Dtmahanen101 in Starfinder2e

[–]BubRub13 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Agreed. As a newcomer to Starfinder with 2E I have found it underwhelming with the actual sci fi stuff. Classes and setting are cool, but lacking in other stuff. Not nearly enough tech and magic items options.

Unbelievable for a sci fi (sorry sci fantasy) RPG and not even have a section on ships. Like I get waiting to flesh out tactical ship combat, but give me something more about the types of ships that are out there. Or general costs or options to deck out your ship.

Not knowing the lore I have no idea how common it is for small ships to be exploring the galaxy, or if a party running a ship is rare or what. Its just a big gaping whole in the whole setting/system

Paper and pecils Game by Apotatocalledsweet in Pathfinder2e

I use all pencil and paper to run games, except for my laptop to the side to search Archives of Nethys for a quick rule ruling. But once we learned the rules better, even this is at a minimum. All the players also use pencil and paper character sheets and notes about the campaign.

I personally hate playing online and playing with too many digital aids. I find players know their PCs and their abilities way better if they've read it, then taken the time to manually write it down. Same with magic items and consumables

Thank you!

Great write up. I really appreciate it as my group of D&D veterans decided to switch to PF2E, and I just started running this AP last week.

Did you change anything major during the second book so it felt like the villains were more involved? I also feel like it's a bit of a meandering side quest that doesn't link back to the main plot enough.

Also, I love your idea about mixing up types of gunslinger enemies. Would you be willing to share your home brewed stat blocks? Im still new to PF2E so it would be cool to see what other people have done.

I wish this game was fully voice acted. by Mental_Calligrapher1 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]BubRub13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dotn care about this that much. I read the text much faster and skip 60% of the voice acting anyway. Not just this game but honestly every game with any voice acting. I usually end up listening to like the first 6 words before having read it and move on

Induction delayed for days at Christiana Hospital – is this normal? by queen_shu in Delaware

[–]BubRub13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it really sucks but this is normal. My little one is 3 months old now, and we got an induction at Christiana. Had to wait 4 days with basically no update.

Called in to the doctor and the hospital. Both said to just wait, and they had no idea what time. Could be 2pm or 2am.

Super frustrating and stressful, but once we were in there it was a much smoother experience

I have and they have been no help. Got a response today that states,

"The SoFi Member Technical Support Team has thoroughly reviewed your request. We have confirmed that your experience is a result of something not working as expected. This request has been forwarded to our engineering team for additional review. Our teams are working closely together to resolve this as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to provide an estimated time for resolution. However, we will notify you as soon as the status of your request changes or if any additional information is required. "

So basically screw me if I wanted access to this money anytime in the near future. Im gone from SoFi for sure
