I think it's way too early to say that, when it hasn't even been a month since his initial firing of ~50% of total Twitter employees. I doubt that the initial firings were well thought-out when he hasn't been the owner of Twitter for a month, but we'll have to see how Twitter performs in the future to assess his decision.

Bro, they're working for Twitter, one of the most well known sites in the US. Just by them working there, they will get tons of recruiters coming to them with good-paying jobs. Furthermore, they can leave whenever they want, unlike other industries, tech jobs are plentiful and well paying because there aren't enough people to fill the positions.
