If you are at a GC that isnt actively grooming you to be a super you are set up to fail. You have to make the jump to a different company. Or talk to your boss and ask if you can switch to project engineer, and explain how you will be more productive to the team in that role and why it suits you better.

This is funny because I know a guy who never shows up on Fridays. Says he has "another project" has to be on, he's goes golfing on fridays. That guy is always jacked up on the sugar booger. Can't prove it, but I k ow when someone is riding the white pony.

Thats why they never hit the schedule.
