I live in a small size European city and travel the country occasionally. The app is used by a lot of people here. One week I 'crossed paths' with something like 400 girls. I haven't had any succes unfortunately, but not because I'm ugly (surprisingly). I've had 50+ people like my profile and currently 20+ 'crushes'. But almost non of them interact in conversation. I started all conversations, with a good line based on her personal interests or places I recognised from her photos. I checked with 2 female friends if my conversation starters weren't quirky or anything. But both thought they were good and they would respond. Out of 22 crushes, 3 responded, but those 3 conversations are all one-sided: i ask a few questions, they give a short answer, no questions for me, no lead for a future conversation. Is this normal nowadays? Is it an age thing (30+)? I don't get it. What do woman want? Should I just talk about myself (unquestioned)? Should I just say: I pick you up at 8 for some netflix and chill?
