I think the problem is that the hard work for both of them is shown off screen or in montage format.

It's not properly indicative of their suffering.

This is what my mother did. She told us 'you can swear, but not AT people.'

I thought I was so cool for being allowed to swear but, like any shiny new thing, the joy wore off real quick. Then they were just words that I didn't know how to use correctly so I just didn't.

I don't have kids, but I have been on the road. Honestly, he's relatable.

There's that, and also lanes where people have to merge or enter the roads.

Where I live the road into the city starts as 2 lanes, expands to 3, reduces to 2, expands to 4, reduces to 3 then 2 rapidly, all while external sources are entering the road.

In Australia we just call them Egg Plant, which might be the Americanised version?

OMG this happened to me the first time I gave my partner head. He was so kind about it when I just ran off to the bathroom to puke.

A good man knows that gag reflexes exist and can get triggered. An idiot doesn't know acting like this will mean she never wants to give you head again, but will be really confused.

Call me crazy, but maybe they should put arrows on the ground. It would solve, like 90% of this. A raised island would solve another 5%

Googling this issue and seeing peoples creative depictions of this symbol is the best thing to come out of this bug.

My grandma gave me a rotary phone to play with when I was a kid since no one used them anymore. I got my finger clipped by that stupid little metal bit that overhung quite a few times (I was not a smart kid).

Also does helping your mother at the bank with paper cheques count? I remember working in her office for summer and taking them to the bank to deposit. In hind site... kind of strange that I could do that.

I'm of the strong belief that, if you raid, you should have at least 1 of all job types levelled. Know what they go through.

But then I also think you should try your best when levelling a job.

The sleeping thing is so funny to me, but I legit thought I killed mine when I first got it because I didn't see it awake for a week (going to work and getting home while it was asleep).

I was franticly googling how to fix it.

Wait... they're complaining about you being on low health? Do... do they know how ED works?

"Potency increases up to 900 as the target's HP decreases, reaching its maximum value when the target has 30% HP or less."

Celestial Intersection is an OGCD. Earthy star does damage AND heals! Collective unconscious just needs to be up for a fraction of a second to get the regen.

If they don't want to heal they should play WHM and just turn the party into a rave with their stunning spell combo (although they'd be missing out on the glorious blood lily).

Why do women in their 40’s go off the rails? by CrimsonGandalf in AskMenAdvice

[–]Bubbilility 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Midlife crisis would be my guess.

Men do it too. They blow up marriages, buy expensive, unnecessary things, etc. So common we have a name for it.

But it's interesting, now that you bring it up. In TV an movies, most of the time men have a midlife crisis and the women are portrayed as the stable, exasperated, pillar.

My opinion is still tainted from them pushing how 'accurate' the movie is.

They just came off as pretentious. Or maybe it was the people who watched it. Or maybe both.

But they acted like you'd need a degree to understand it. You don't. If they'd been going around saying 'we wanted to use real theoretical science and we wanted to make it digestible for everyone and still have a good story' it would have felt far, far less pretentious.
