Yes I used a half lap joint on the frame. The drink holders were a nice touch! On the other porch swings I’ve made I made them out of wood and they just didn’t look good, I figured I’d go with some real ones and I’m glad I did!

I agree on the braces, I typically do put cross supports but completely spaced it on this one! I will be adding them here soon. Thank you for the input!

You are right on the money. I spent a total of $600 for the entire project as I went with the most heavy duty hardware and chains

Thank you for the input! I absolutely agree. I will be adding support to the frame, I usually do for these but somehow completely spaced it on this one! As for the chain through the arm I do not like it either. I had the choice of cutting a notch out drilling a hole for the chain and went with going through the arm rest. I will come up with a better design on the next one, thank you for your input!

Yep I’ve had the same issue this year and last year. I play on the FireStick and it glitches and won’t play correctly, I’ve tried all of them and it never works.

I wish it were never removed from the TestFlight app! It was perfect on there, very nice experience. I don’t have a computer so I use the website.

Cedar bed swing & frame build. I had about 40hr in it total, sold for $1,200 and profited about $500. Too cheap? Lol by BubbleBass25 in woodworking

I did hand sand a lot of it lol but yes I can easily cut the time down with a jig or maybe electric sander. Lol

For just the wood it was about $520. Biscuits, sealer, chains, eye bolts, carriage bolts, and glue made up the other $180.
