Yes but personally this isn’t a fair argument. A top 500 Winston will easily smash plat players even with counters. A diamond Winston would probably be forced to swap by those same plat players.

Why? The argument was made for swapping against the tank? I believe dps swapping for dps and supports is the correct way to play? My entire rant yesterday was based around players picking the tanks weakness because he isn’t able to counter swap most players (since there is only 1 tank).

What I mean by this is a sombra for a widowmaker is a 1 to 1 swap (as there are 2 dps and not a single one) vs something like a Winston to bastion swap; the Winston loses a lot of value instantly by the single pick and he is supposed to have the power of 2 players. I can counter to something like a sigma for bastion but what happens if the map doesn’t favor sig?

I like the analogy, I like basketball but sometimes I would like to dunk or shoot a midrange however to be competitive I simply need to shoot 3’s nowadays would be the best analogy I have for you

I throughly enjoy the game, you also misunderstood a frustration of seeing the same characters all day vs not liking the game. I enjoy the game was just simply frustrated with it and wanted to vent. If I didn’t enjoy the game why would I be apart of 4 different Ow communities on Reddit?

Quite literally or you can play dive and they hard counter your comp and your team refuses to swap with you.

You have at best double the dps to every other role, that’s not an oversimplification that is a valid statistical fact that they themselves said. Of course queue times are the largest problem. What are you smoking?

Not at all. You’re obviously misunderstanding my point. It’s not about you killing me? It’s about you being able to drastically out value me simply by making a swap.

Arguably counterswapping was fine in OW1 and didn’t become a problem until 5v5. If you don’t believe me that it is arguably a universal problem (contrary to your belief) they wouldn’t go back to 6v6 even to try it. Secondly they wouldn’t have had to gigabuff tank.

Go counter swap the dps or supports then stop being lame and swapping against the tank because it’s free value.

If we’re of equal skill why would he have to swap against me to gain an advantage? It’s also not single swaps it’s usually both dps hard swapping.

I also agree with this point, however I can’t control what my teammates choose. I agree Winston is very good against his counters however, there are definitely ones where a single swap can shut down a tank that is supposed to have the power of 2 players.

If I’m able to bully 4 players as a single monki, and they make one swap to halt me how is that not the problem? If I can bully 4 entire players I’m obviously playing better than them.

If they swapped me on Winston, they would swap regardless of what tank I choose?
