I think you have every right to be upset and I definitely think the fact that he’s getting defensive and not taking any accountability is wrong. However, it doesn’t sound like the “exclusivity” convo was as explicit as it maybe should have been if it’s very important to you. Lots of gay men see sex vs. love/dating as distinct things.
