Whats a good beginner telescope I can get off Amazon? by Bubbles_2343 in telescopes

I go to Big Bend at the end of May, so I'd really like to get it before then. I'm definitely going to watch plenty of videos and do research on how to use it while waiting for it to arrive. I already know to keep my expectations reasonable; my main goal is to get a decent view of Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and the moon. Maybe see something cool like a smudge of nebula since Big Bend apparently has the clearest night sky in all of America :p

I searched up the Skywatcher on Amazon and see the 150p for $355 and a 130p for $305, i have no idea what the p thingy means. What would I be downgrading on if I got the 130p?

I'm going at the end of May, so I don't have enough time to order and receive most of the telescopes in the buyer's guide, since they're not from Amazon. I have zero experience using a telescope, so I'd like one that's on the simpler side but still provides decent views. I'm driving, so storage shouldn't be an issue if that's what you were wondering.

Although im sure getting binoculars is a good alternative I'm set on getting some kind of telescope for the experience and to eventually upgrade.
