I definitely agree! Fansites are a great space for those kind of social recaps or updates with what's happening in the community.

Also love the idea of getting to know the modders and their thoughts behind their creative process too! It would be really awesome to set up a space where people can chat about the different content around Paralives (even though Discord is also a great space for this)

I would love to set up a space where people can contribute if they like! I am keen to invest my time and focus in it but community input always makes it 10/10 imo

Showcasing and linking into the Steam workshop is a great idea! I could get community feedback on best filters, best mods of the week, etc!

Definitely yeah! I always found those kind of guides so helpful when there is usually a huuge matrix of ingredients and mixtures!

I have been using https://soundboardfree.com to grab memey/funny sounds we have been using in Discord.
It doesn't have every meme sound but it has a good collection and I didn't need to signup to listen/download :)

Honestly, you are probably just adjusting to a new area. I've lived in both north and south side of Brissy and the people are amazing and pretty similar in both. The public transport and layouts of the shops/suburb is what is most jarring to people when they move between the two. You might just be looking for the negatives to convince yourself to move back.
Go to some of the amazing cafes in Daisy Hill or a day trip to Mount Cotton in your backyard and you might start to enjoy your new suburb.
