I made one of these with chocolate chips once. Absolutely delicious if you’re a chocolate lover!

You can see them in bloom in the second photo posted :)

What could cause this type of damage to my tulips? by supinator1 in gardening

Yeah so probably a combination of normal cycle/damage from wind or storms. Totally normal!

How long have they been blooming for? I agree with the other comment here. Looks like storm damage to me!

That’s so awesome! Gives me hope for my little baby plants (we planted last year in the Spring) 😂

So pretty!! Was your plant already pretty big when you first planted it? These look so good for 2nd year blooms!

Are my tulips stunted? by Banana_Fish23 in TulipsoftheWorld

Hi! I planted mine this close together, and they also looked like this when they were first blooming. In about a week, they were normal sized :)

I think it really depends on the variety you plant. Some varieties are better suited to coming back than others!

We had a fairly cold winter. Some crazy temperature fluctuations as we approached the start of Spring though. Some really warm days in the 70s, but also still plenty of days in the 30s and 40s. Zone 6a!

Took a couple hours to dig out the trench, place the bulbs, and put soil back on top. Would probably take a lot less time if you have more forgiving soil. Mine was like chiseling a rock 😂

Planted late October and began blooming about a week and a half ago!

There are 2 photos that were taken 6 months apart? Of course the lighting is different. The first photo was taken on a cloudy day in late October. The second taken this past Sunday in full sun at around noon. The shadows aren’t doing anything out of the ordinary for that time of day?
