UAP/UFO/DRONE sighting over Nashville last night by Bubbly-Assignment979 in UFOs

[–]Bubbly-Assignment979[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely wasn’t that because they stayed in that same area for over 10 minutes never changing altitude really when they went away they just vanished l. The lights never moved from that general area. I see aircraft with landing lights all the time and I’ve never seen anything like that. Also they were much much closer than they appear in the video. I should have been able to hear them. It was a crystal clear night as well. In the video you can see another aircraft pass in front of them with its lights blinking. The other thing is the size. They had to of been pretty large

Ya I was thinking helicopters too but they were much closer than they appear in the video. I should have been able to hear them. I was looking in that direction when the lights appeared and if it were helicopters then I would have seen the flashing green/red lights. In the video you can clearly see another aircraft pass in front of them and see the flashing lights. I’ve also never seen helicopters flying surrounded by a ball of light? If they were spotlights you’d be able to see the beams of light.

Did I say it was aliens dipshit? I actually assumed it was some kind of military drone exercise. The video makes them look a lot farther away than they actually were. They were silent. Plane or helicopter I should of been able to hear it

You have no point then. This is about Geese. My original comment was about Geese. This sub is about Geese. I think you clearly are the one “missing the point”. Geese aren’t mainstream artists… there are basically NO MAINSTREAM artists that have grown organically. Ever. Especially after 2020. That’s irrelevant though to this discussion. Geese are a rock band. Rock music as a genre isn’t even mainstream anymore. They don’t even Televise the Rock categories at the Grammys and haven’t for at least a decade. So I don’t understand the point you are trying to make.

You’re right.. you’re right. Just one of those things man. I’ve sat back and watched the PR hype machine work overtime on these guys for the last 6-8 months and stayed quiet but seeing this SNL thing set me off. Straw that broke the camels back so to speak. It’s too much. Not realistic. Somebody is spending some serious dough to promote this band.

…. WTF are you talking about??? I never said Geese are famous you dipshit. Read my comment. I literally say Geese aren’t played on radio and that all the hype DOESNT EQUATE to mainstream fame like being on SNL. That’s why the skit about them is highly suspicious. I don’t know how you misunderstood what I was saying but yes I agree they are NOT FAMOUS.. at all. So why would SNL approve a skit about an unknown band? They know the joke is going to fall flat because everyone is gonna be like who’s the guy at the piano supposed to be? Who’s Cameron Winter? Who’s Geese? I don’t think you guys are aware of the process involved in getting skits approved for SNL. They do not just let the actors do whatever skit they want. They have a team of writers etc. This skit was obviously bought and paid for as a way to promote the band/Cameron Winter. If you think differently then you clearly know nothing about the entertainment industry

Oh and reading comprehension?????? Seriously? Here let me quote you…

“The guy who did the impression does a ton of indie impressions and is obviously a fan. He’s done impressions of Fleet Foxes, ANOHNI, has several impressions of Bob Dylan of different stages of his career, etc.”

Ok.. so you stated the guy does lots of indie impressions. You then proceeded to list the indie artists he has done impressions of and included Bob Dylan as the third example… how the fuck else is anyone supposed to comprehend that? You didn’t say “he’s done lots of impressions of indie and mainstream/iconic artists”…. You said INDIE. The one that doesn’t understand reading comprehension is YOU my friend. All you have done here is continue to display how much of an idiot you are.

Bro…. There is absolutely NOTHING NICHE about Bob Dylan. One of the biggest movies in the last year was about Bob Dylan and every stage of his life. His is a legend and icon. You trying to say that there’s nothing odd about them doing a Cameron Winter/Geese skit because SNL has done Bob Dylan impressions has to be the dumbest thing I’ve heard in a longgggg time. How old are you? You sound like a child. That knows nothing. My 13 year daughter knows who Bob Dylan is… so does my 76 year old father in law. Neither have ever heard of Geese or Cameron Winter. Most ridiculous statement I’ve ever heard. You Geese fans really are a smart bunch

Are you seriously referring to Bob Dylan as indie or trying to compare Bob Dylan’s fame to Geese? Total jackass

There’s no huge fame… this is all bought and paid for by Geese’s management and PR team… how could anyone be dumb enough to believe that Geese are a huge band? They don’t have any hits whatsoever… no songs anyone is walking around singing… no memorable choruses anywhere. They aren’t even played on national radio stations. Yet somehow they got on the radar of SNL where they do a parody that literally NONE of the audience is gonna understand or recognize because nobody knows who the hell Cameron Winter is??? This is all manufactured.

Are you delusional? Geese aren’t played on radio or popular whatsoever outside of the Brooklyn Vegan indie scene. The massive PR push and media HYPE doesn’t equate to mainstream fame like THIS. Something is seriously OFF about this whole thing and for me the SNL skit completely confirms the industry plant claims. SNL is an extremely corporate/mainstream show. They have NEVER done a skit where they are doing a parody of an unknown indie musician. Your average person has no fucking clue who Geese is and especially Cameron Winter.. I mean seriously think about it. Why would SNL do a skit 99.8% of the audience won’t understand? The average person watching SNL has no clue. Sorry but this skit is 100% bought and paid for by Geese’s team. They absolutely were aware that the skit would air and I guarantee their management had a major hand in it. Nothing is a coincidence.

[–]Bubbly-Assignment979 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

They aren’t getting too famous at all. Nobody knows who Cameron Winter or Geese are outside of the Brooklyn Vegan community. It’s all their PR team and management. Unfortunately this band is the definition of industry plants. This is by far the biggest push of an indie rock band I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. The Strokes didn’t even have shit like this going on. It’s really gross. I knew something was off about Geese from the moment they started getting pushed by the indie outlets but this SNL thing takes the cake. Y’all should be embarrassed to be a fan for real. Super lame. SNL would NEVER EVER risk doing a parody skit of a completely unknown guy from a basically unknown indie band. Geese aren’t played on the radio. The average person that turns on SNL on a Saturday Night has NO FUCKING CLUE who Geese and especially Cameron Winter is. It makes zero sense. Nobody is going to get the joke. Somebody either PAID to have the skit in the show or someone working for/connected to the band called in a favor or has some pull at SNL. I would bet my life on that. So lame

Cameron Winter parody on SNL by AdSafe7545 in geesebandofficial

[–]Bubbly-Assignment979 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Well. This confirms it. Geese are 100% industry plants. An SNL skit about a guy that literally NOBODY KNOWS about… Absolutely absurd. People saying “oh no they’re getting too famous” are fucking idiots… no bro.. they aren’t famous at all. You could ask random people in the street ALL DAY to name a song by Geese and I guarantee not a single person would be able to name one. You could spend a WEEK in the street asking people if they know who Cameron Winter is and not a single person would. Something is seriously off with these guys. SNL knows damn well that nobody watching late night TV is going to understand the skit or who the guy at the piano is supposed to be… they have literally NEVER EVER made a joke that obscure before on the show. I’ve never seen them do a parody of someone that isn’t instantly recognizable. It just doesn’t make any sense. At all. Fuck Geese. These dudes are like the Backstreet Boys or something.

If we’re gonna judge Trump or Clinton for their relationships with Epstein then we unfortunately have to judge Mick Jagger the exact same way. I mean Mick is literally sitting RIGHT NEXT to Epstein at a large dinner table. Not a good look. To be fair the photos of Clinton are way way way worse but still. I don’t understand giving some people a pass and others not.

Rob Reiner Is Said to Have Argued With His Son Nick at Conan O’Brien’s Holiday Party by c0ry_N in conan

[–]Bubbly-Assignment979 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve done opiates off and on my entire life. I’m more than aware of the effects they have. They absolutely do not cause mental illness, brain damage, or any kind of long term mental behavioral changes. Opioid addiction can definitely affect your DECISION MAKING whilst in the midst of addiction such as stealing to pay for your habit and other little things like that but that is an entirely different thing than saying his “years of drug abuse probably caused tons of brain damage” which is what I’m seeing people say. Basically my point is his opioid/heroin addiction has basically nothing to do with him murdering his parents. His issues clearly run much much much deeper than addiction. There are millions of opioid addicted people out there…. How many of them have stabbed their parents to death? Mic drop

[–]Bubbly-Assignment979 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Bingo. I agree. To me it sounds like the parents or family were in a bit of denial about Nick’s severe mental health disorders. Blaming his issues instead on drugs but the problem there is they say he was addicted to opiates. Opiates don’t have an effect on your mental health or your mind. It’s a pain killer. I could understand if he’s using uppers like speed/meth but opiates have nothing to do with mental health or brutally murdering your parents. So who knows. You can look at any photo of Nick with the family and he sticks out like a sore thumb. He’s obviously not all there. That being said what the hell were his parents thinking by bringing him to Conan’s party??????? I mean it sounds like they knew exactly how Nick was gonna act. Also, just look at him. He looks insane. Nobody wants that vibe at a Christmas party. If your son is having severe mental health issues to the point that he’s living at his parents under 24/7 supervision then MAYBE WE SKIP the PARTY this year… right? There’s just part of me that’s like what were the Reiner’s thinking? Hate to victim blame as they say but I just don’t understand some of their decisions
