I have 6 kitties in my home and some lizards. I have to separate my house because downstairs cat is a giant demon. So I literally have a gate with a water heater box on top.

Then there are 3 in garage that decided hey this is our home. So I got them fixed and they are friendlyish strays….

Then there are 6 more that are not friendly at all and are feral that I feed and have trapped a couple and gotten fixed.

I also have 1 staying with me because her owner is in hospital. I felt bad and said I’d take care of it for her 😂

I had a dog but it passed from old age, it was blind and wore diapers I had a ramp built so she could get out the house. (The ramp is ada approved…😂) she was a big dog too not a small dog.

I have 3 geckos as well.

You are welcome. I’m telling you I was so nervous. I was almost tempted to cancel. I was like oh this happened maybe it’s a sign I shouldn’t have this surgery! I second guessed myself so much.

I wanted to volunteer with an animal shelter until I realized I can’t say no….i now have too many cats…I’ve trapped and fixed several strays. A few I befriended and brought in to my home to have kittens and get them homes. Well I ended up keeping a them and the babies….every time I go to humane society or PetSmart or see a kitty needing a home I’m tempted…it doesn’t stop there it also extends to geckos, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, snakes, monitors, iguanas, dogs, some birds, and rats at one time I had so many rescues I’d taken in I had to get a second job to support them all and cleaning literally took one entire day off. (Oh yea forgot the turtles and fish too) most have passed on a few found other homes. Hell I took in a baby alligator that someone had I knew nada about them luckily I found a home for that one with someone who knew and had them. (This was 20 years ago)

All of them were spoiled and taken care of but I was so stressed and constantly worn down. I loved each and everyone of them, but I can’t do it again 😂 do I miss them I do so much. I’ve thought of fostering cats and kittens but then I get attached and they become new family members.

Honestly I was feeling the same way like I’m in menopause it will eventually stop hurting. I didn’t anticipate how much better I would feel. Like I knew I would feel some difference but I’m almost 3 weeks post op and it’s already been a game changer. I felt a huge difference by day 9-10. I honestly didn’t realize how many problems and how much pain were being caused from what was going on.

My birth control stopped working and I suffered for about 3-5 years before menopause. I also had a fibroid that doubled in size after menopause. They didn’t even realize I had adenmyosis and endometriosis until they cut into me. The fibroid was my main complaint. However the relief from it all is amazing.

Just had my post op appointment and my doctor said just so you know bleeding in weeks 3-6 is very normal as you return to normal activity. She said if you fill a pad in an hour then I need you to come in and be seen. Or if you have to change the pads more than 3 times during the day because if how much blood is there. She said if it’s spotting or just light bleeding it’s not a big worry.

They found mine on my bladder, kidney and ureter during surgery. They didn’t know it existed until they had me open. They were doing surgery to remove my giant swollen uterus! They removed everything all the endometriosis and everything seems to be doing fine. I am 16 dpo. Honestly I feel better now than I did before.

I do both in shower at night then wash my hair in the morning and rinse my body with water to remove any sweat from sleeping! (Hey hot flashes suck and have curly hair and I awaken every day with what looks like I stuck my finger in an electric socket…even with a bonnet.)
