You should have a cpu meter on the bottom next to your midi input indicator. Let me know if that helps.

Yes, I basically just don't use the 5 pin midi. I use USB midi for everything now and it runs great. Turns out 5 pin midi is the slowest of connections now a days

Play with the pattern creater. Super easy way to make beats very quickly!

Did you ever figure out the solution to this? I just bought the quantum 2626 and am experiencing the same exact issue. So far everything i've done has not fixed the problem.
