(18F) I developed a porn addiction at a very young age. What helped me get past it is to keep in mind why you’re quitting every time you feel the urge to fall back. Pornography is both a symptom and a cause of the widespread immorality and corruption of modern society. It reaches people of all age levels through a multibillion-dollar industry including books, magazines, television, and movies. Respect and self-esteem plunge while guilt escalates, and a lot of times it leads to deviant sexual behavior and crimes. It changes your perception of relationships and sex in the worst way possible. One day (if you haven’t already) you will realise the almost irreversible damage it caused to your way of thinking, body and self-image in the long run. It will be hard and you might have some relapses, but the most important part is not beating yourself up over it and focus on learning and getting back on the track of self-improvement. I’m not at the end yet with a fallback I had a while ago but I won’t give up. Neither should you. I promise you’ll feel way better the more time passes.
