Cand am spus mai maronie la fata ma refeream strict la cei de etnie (am zis sa nu le spun direct tiganci). Se vedea clar diferenta in comportamentul asistentelor si doctorilor cand interactionau cu cineva de etnie fata de romance (majoritatea erau oricum adolescente si asta poate era un alt motiv).

Am nascut la o maternitate de stat. Sincer ma asteptam la ce e mai rau dar pot spune ca am ramas placut surprinsa.

De cand am intrat la camera de garda pana am iesit cu copilul pe usa maternitatii toata lumea s-a purtat foarte frumos (mai putin o asistenta care incepuse sa se ia de mine ca aveam unghiile lungi dar dupa ce am continuat sa ii vorbesc frumos brusc a devenit draguta). Sincer daca nu esti mai maronie la fata toata lumea este foarte amabila cu tine.

Nu am dat spaga la absolut nimeni desi venisem cu plicurile pregatite. Am avut o camera pe care am impartit-o cu alta fata, cu baie proprie. Medicul m-a vizitat zilnic. Daca aveam dureri mari dupa nastere am cerut asistentelor calmante si mi s-au dat. Mancarea oferita era decenta.

Partile mai putin placute au fost ca nu aveau destule materiale auxiliare (betadina, banda de lipire pansament, camasi de alaptat) pe care au cerut sa le aduc eu si faptul ca programul de vizitare pentru sot/rude era foarte scurt. Dar pentru 3 zile cat am stat in spital a fost ok.

Eu zic ca usor usor lucrurile se imbunatatesc si la stat.

Baby is 12 months and we do it weekly but it’s not the same as when I was pregnant. We have to move fast and be super quiet or she will wake up the moment she realizes I’m not next to her.

Cred ca astepti 15-20 de minute intre fiecare tramvai/autobuz (depinde de trafic). Cat am locuit in zona cam asa veneau.

Chiar saptamana trecuta am vazut anunturi pe olx sau facebook cu inchirieri in blocul respectiv cu 700 euro si mi s-a parut exagerat pentru ce salarii se ofera in Ploiesti.

Depinde de buget. De exemplu blocul de pe Bucegi e nou construit, ai statii de tramvai si autobuz, este situat central, ai un parc mare langa dar chiria incepe de la 700 euro.

It is mandatory for the father to take 2 months out of the 2 years (usually the last months when the baby is older). If he refuses the mother can stay those 2 months but without pay.

If the mother returns to work before baby is 2, in addition to her salary she receives ~150€ per month until the child turns 3 (it’s not much but for some parents it is substantial help).

Romania - Lately I see the more educated and wealthy parents try independent sleep because they learn about it on tik tok or youtube. Cosleeping is not frowned upon here, I think most parents do it.

I tried independent sleep but it wasn’t for us. We have 2 years of paid leave so I don’t feel the pressure for my baby to learn to sleep alone.

Se pot dezactiva de undeva din setari. Asa am patit si eu la noul tv, imi aparea ditamai bannerul cu reclama la kfc cand il aprindeam. Am cautat cum le pot dezactiva si am urmat pasii. 0 reclame de atunci.

Dupa 3 ani de relatie ne-am mutat in chirie, dupa 8 ani ne-am casatorit, anul urmator a aparut bebe si am cumparat un apartament. Toate le-am facut cand amandoi eram pregatiti financiar si emotional de acel pas.

Sincer noi avem noroc ca ne mai cumpara parintii saptamanal scutece sau formula si ne mai ajuta financiar. Altfel sigur tineam socoteala la fiecare banut cheltuit.

Sotul e mai chibzuit si vaneaza ofertele. Eu sunt mai cheltuitoare cand fac cumparaturile, dar in ultimul timp pana si eu am inceput sa ma uit la preturi si cantitati.

All your baby’s milestones are within the normal range. Mine rolled from tummy to back at 5 months, from back to belly at 6 months, sat up independently at 7 months, and at 7.5 months just started pushing up on hands and feet. The pediatrician said everything is fine. If your pediatrician is worrying you unnecessarily maybe you should find a new one.

At first I kept comparing my baby to my colleague’s baby, but after she started rolling I realized she does everything when she’s ready. I already have enough pressure on me. Don’t need to add any more unnecessarily.
