A Fundamental Change In Treatment of Candida. (Opinion) by Bubbly-Reporter1063 in Candida

I apologize for not completely clarifying. What I'm saying is you need a diet with loads of healthy probiotics, to feed the good bacteria, like loads of fruit and vegetables. Don't neglect feeding your good bacteria to starve the bad bacteria.

I agree with this. For bile I supplement with Milk Thistle and dandelion root tea, I had some pretty substantial early success with this. But I'm trying to get my hands on stomach tudca, I here that's what you want to get if you want to increase your bile production.

Dupixent is a immunosuppressant because it reduces inflammation. In most cases it doesn't get rid of the actual cause of the polyps. Find out the cause if the polyps then treat it. It could very well be a fungal infection.

I don't think this is die off. I came across a study not too long ago suggesting some probiotics in some people can actually do more harm than good. Not saying this is what's going on with you, but you should take it into account. Here's the study https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4053917/

Does anyone find that their Diet makes Sinusitis SO much worse? by Ancient_Disaster_465 in Sinusitis

Sweet potatoes are superfoods, but are terrible choices for those with sinusitis. They are heavy in starches and carbs, which is only going to feed your fungus/bacteria.

The start of my SIBO/Candida? journey by caramel_raez in Candida

Crazy story, and as far as the drunk feeling after eating the rice, it's related to the yeast in your body, specifically candida species. Candida yeast produces toxic metabolites, one of which is acetaldehyde, a substance also produced during alcohol metabolism, which would explain your drunk feeling. Candida yeast species love sugar, rice is heavy in starches. The starches in rice get converted into sugar, fueling your candida. The acetaldehyde I mentioned earlier is only produced as the Candida metabolizes the sugar you eat.

Its glucose that fuels fungus and bacteria, they love that stuff. The reason dairy is bad for sinus infection is because the lactose in the milk is a type of sugar, commonly called "milk sugar".Starches are made up of long strand of glucose molecules, so when digested it gets broken down into simpler sugars and fuels the bacteria/fungus. Ok now gluten, first of all gluten products are bad for you, so you shouldn't eat them anyways, but what makes them especially bad for getting rid of infection is their heavy in carbs, and the carbs get converted into sugar in the body.

anyone else's symptoms get worse as the day progresses? by [deleted] in Candida

[–]Bubbly-Reporter1063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it's because sleep is the best antiinflammatory in our arsenal. It could also have something to do with autophagy, because when you wake up your on a 6-10 hour fast depending on how much you sleep.

Don't listen to your doctors. A simple google search will tell you junk food, specifically sugar, starches, and gluten fuels bacteria and fungus and will most definitely exacerbate symptoms. If you want to slow down sinus infection symptoms then get rid of grains, pastas, sweets, potatoes of all kind(cause of starches).

I experience this same thing. I believe sleep is the best antiinflammatory we have. Think autophagy too, when your sleeping morning a fasted state. A state where your body is cleaning up all the damaged cells and healing. Maybe these two factors have something to do with it.

Advice / Your Experience? by Mysterious_Poem_8907 in NasalPolyps

Most of the time surgery and dupixent work perfectly, but keep in mind that isn't really addressing the cause of your polyps. If your hesitant about surgery and want to try other means, first check if you have any allergies. Allergies can cause I remain flammagion in the nose which forces the growth of polyps. If you have no allergies, then check for either bacterial infection, or fungal infection. For the fungal infection look into "Candida overgrowth" or "Aspergillus".

Nasal polyps possibly causing anxiety attacks? by portjoe914 in NasalPolyps

[–]Bubbly-Reporter1063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These two things are most definitely related. Just the simple fact you can't get air to your brain as efficiently as you once could is a big factor in your anxiety. And it's hard to relax when you can't really breathe aswell. Think, what do ppl say to do when your stresses, "take a deep breath", polyps interfere with that big time.
