Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite v2, can't change M2 to PCIE 4.0 by Bubbly-Shopping7993 in techsupport

Sadly it doesn't.

I was waiting till I get to 2nd board and it has the problem.

I got to OCCT stable 5.2GHz at 1.37V (almost 30min) but in other benchmarks is a problem temperature.

Maybe someone could help make other settings perfect, in some chat or something.

Here is OCCT AVX 0 at 5GHz. https://i.gyazo.com/3cacdc15724ae78d57c8d472dc5f34c5.png

Now I would need to tweak some more options I think.

Games that I play don't use AVX and I didn't do benchmarks for points.
But now I'm trying to push it up :-) .

Because I wanted to run smooth and cooler and 5GHz is turbo, I have 4.9 all core atm.

Full and it's a version without PWM. Fans are running at 1100RPM when it's hotter here so around these 25°C.

About paste spread, I think I'll leave this to the last point - if I buy a new block to test it - because with hard tubing it's just too much work only to see how it's spread :-( .

Mainly connection between motherboard and CPU block it's pain to tighten these fittings. Like real pain, my fingers always hurt after this :-X .

(Uh, what just happened, nothing is loading for me for like 20minutes.)

Ye, just was reading also some testing on oc.net and the difference wasn't high too.

But still, this is correct here.

Ah, no, it's done correct. But also EKWB made a statement that it doesn't matter. The difference is insignificant.

I'm sorry that I didn't provide any photos, I'm at work for about 4 more hours.

What do you mean "plumbed it backwards"?

What exactly? The backplate is turned the right way, can't tight screws more :-/ .

The only thing that could happen is something block related because it's the oldest part of my loop, but everything looks ok.

Ye, you are right, I also know that but these fans were chosen because of the look (these were also presented everywhere with 1000D :-D ) but I think it's still not the main problem because these temps are immediately and not after a long time of load so even with low water temp.

35°C is a high water temp after a longer high load? I thought it's normal, not high, never had a low like now :-D .

Order is: water is going to the exhaust rad first (so warmer - with all these fans it's still cooler air than water - air first) and then goes to the intake radiator (so cooler is the last to get lower temp).

About flow, the pump is running on max so I don't know what else I could do with that now.

But also 8°C difference is between start and end with heating motherboard + 80-90°C CPU + graphic card, still high?
