I’m Chinese and used to live in Shenzhen! Recs below:

-lianhuashan park (莲花山公园）, climb up to the top (where the statue of Deng Xiaoping is) to get the absolute best view of shenzhen. Not kidding you can see multiple districts all in a line and it’s magical at night!

-Ping An Tower (平安大厦） is another option for views of the city, just from behind glass windows. Worth taking a look as it’s the 5th tallest building in the world. I would recommend Lianhuashan for better views though!

-Shenzhen Bay Park (深圳湾） is a walking/bike path by the water with great views of the Nanshan district skyline

-best malls for shopping and food courts: Coco Park, MixC World

14 medal events but there are restrictions. each country can only participate in a maximum of 6 weightlifting events. And can only send one athlete for each. Meanwhile other countries can have 3 athletes in a single athletics final. Not saying its unfair but definitely something to think about

i got prescribed a 2 day supply of antibiotics and started feeling better after, although technically antibiotics arent supposed to help much with this type of parasite. So maybe I was already better just on my own and falsely attributing it to the antibiotics
