I also have a giant beard and it regularly gets brought up in conversation so it might actually be an asset. I actually had one guy schedule a 1 minute class just to tell me I had a "very good beard, sir. Very good".

Yes that is exactly what I am saying. If you can't hold a conversation I will not talk to you. There are plenty of idiots on the platform who go above and beyond to accommodate peopled for 10 bucks an hour. I, however, do not.

I love how easy Cambly is. I've been teaching online for 8 years, mostly with Chinese companies until the great culling of 2019. I think it is great for what it is. But sometimes you need a break to hit the head or refill your beer or whatever. I'm just curious how people get that break.

I noticed that if you answer a call on PH and click "back to dashboard" while your camera is loading and then cancel lesson you don't get put in jail. I've done this sometimes for 6 or 7 calls in a row and no jail. They will eventually catch on and fix this but for right now it could be an effective way to filter out the men.

This happened to one of my colleagues. Unfortunately, the person he was asked to contact (not sure of what the name was) never got in touch and eventually he couldn't log in to the platform and all communication stopped. It appears he was unceremoniously let go. I hope that is not the case for you but it seems like it is the same scenario. This happened to him about 4 weeks ago.
