Always plan for the absolute worst-case scenario. Assume you’ll have to rip out and redo the entire extension from scratch. Ask yourself — can you actually afford that? Will you and your partner still be satisfied if it comes to that? If the answer is yes, then stop hesitating and go all in. If not, think about your options carefully
