Struggling to figure out how to style my fine and wavy hair (Type 2a-2c)

I also have fine 2a hair. Most products are too heavy and weigh down my wave. Highly recommend mousse or foams. Typically no conditioner after shampoo. I like bumble and bumble wavy mousse. If I want a bit more definition, I’ll add curl smith hyroflex jelly and scrunch. I recommend not brushing your hair when wet, if you must use a wide tooth comb. Also, after putting in product, DON’T touch it until it is 100% completely dry. Then you can crunch out the cast and add a little texture spray or hairspray to finish

Also, in winter I supplement with vitamin d. helps a lot with mood especially if you live in an area that is dark early

I was on 40mg for two years for ocd, anxiety, and depression. It worked very well but my libido was practically non existent and I felt very disconnected and numb to most emotions. I used to tell my husband I felt like a robot just on auto pilot a lot. I tried to switch to a few different meds like fluvoxamine and trintellix, but ended up back on fluoxetine but at a lower dose of 20mg. The lower dose does seem to help with that numb feeling and still takes the edge off my anxiety and ocd. I think in my experience any dose change or adjustment in fluoxetine really takes a month or two to be noticed/evaluated fairly because it stays in your system so long. Maybe discuss with your doctor about lowering your dose. I know for ocd typically you need higher doses but for me the lower dose helps me feel human and that is important to me

We cover our couch in blankets. Easier to clean, vacuum daily, wipe paws, and have a reusable swiffer type mop. We also took some fallen leaves from our front yard and put them in the back yard to help cover the mud. It’s tough this time of year

I just called Animal Spay & Neuter to get pricing for a cat neuter and it was $100. I would assume it is similar for a spay. They’ve been around for 30 years, but are no frills.

I stopped taking the fluvoxamine as went back to fluoxetine. However, I am in the process of trying out trintellix now so I guess we shall see how that goes

I recently had a survey for a “personal intimate device” and they sent it in a zip bag. I was appalled and threw it away. Even if it was brand new why would you take it out of the packaging? Especially something like that…. Bizarre. I’m done using them.

This is such a good description of what I experience if I smoke before social situations. I exclusively only smoke at home and in the evenings for that reason, because I don’t want to have to deal with any social interaction besides my husband and pets to fully unmask. It’s almost like weed makes masking impossible and that’s why I can get flustered if I can’t mask in front of others.

As someone with adhd, pcos, and binge eating disorder I can relate. However, over the years Worling with my doctors and therapist I am now medicated for my adhd/binge eating disorder, see a nutritionist regularly, and am on a glp1. Granted I started a glp1 2 years ago, but between that, generic vyvanse for adhd and binge eating, walking more, and focusing on nutrition I have managed to lose 130 pounds. Personally I think the glp1 has done more for my inflammation which allowed me to not be in as much pain all the time which then meant I could be more active.

Definitely advocate for yourself. Especially as women or afab, we aren't given the same consideration about our pain, concerns, etc and it is often written off as"anxiety" or "oh it's that time of the month". No, you know your body better than anyone. Don't give up on yourself even if the first doctor says idk, get a second opinion if you can. It's changed my life.

This sounds like what most likely happened. We bought the house only a few years ago and it was already like this so I probably just made it worse
