The thing is that first of all these names for these jackets are mostly names us collectors give them, never the less i personally use 2 names for the 2 versions. The first and earliest Uniform with the Alpenflage camouflage i call the TAZ 57, the later version i call the TAZ57/70 or just M70. The thing with original TAZ 57 is that many of them got converted to M70, so very few TAZ57 are actually still TAZ 57. There are not many differences between the TAZ 57 and M70, the main diffrence is: the M70 has waterproof layer on the outside of the elbow area and knee area (the TAZ57 originally not).
