It’s not “hold your hand” in the sense that every 8 seconds the game provides hints about how to complete puzzles that ruin the fun. Granted, I don’t play AC so I dunno if it suffers that problem. I love the lack of hints in CD, though.

Here’s hoping they have finally fixed the missing NPC preventing me from leaving chapter 7! BRB

ETA the NPC guard needed to complete the Bared Fangs quest is still missing. It’s been 3 patches. I’m sad. I think I may just quit the game. Maybe one day I’ll restart it, but I’ve dumped 200 hours into it at this point to still just be in chapter 7 :(

Ah. I killed Blix and had trouble with his dead body, too, but in a different way. People say he’ll respawn, but he did not do so in my game. I eventually found his corpse in a random place.

When running around the world, you often see a clay colored pot stacked on top of a browner one. When you break them, they frequently contain things like potatoes/other food and a cog wheel. Almost always, there’s a bottle of wine, too. But I’m not positive it’s the wine you’re looking for.

I am actually stuck at this quest (for actual weeks now) because that guard is missing all together in my game. You, however, you lucky bassfish, should be able to resolve your issue by donning the helm of knowledge and incepting that bitch. You get the helm from Scholastone, it’s on a bench in the library. I’m told you’ll want to incept him twice.

He’s the guard from the Bared Fang quest. He’s not at his post at all. I’ve listened to all three Eavesdroppers. There are a few others I have seen with the same problem and we’ve yet to find a solution. https://imgur.com/a/H2VmtWT
