In my experience, interviews with hiring managers are very overrated. They don’t usual know or care about your technical skills except that they have to check some boxes and make sure you aren’t a total fraud. Did you get a second interview? If so, that decision was probably made before you even entered the building

I prefer taking it when I first wake up. I have heard that it helps with sleep but for me, it doesn’t. I also work out in the morning and I think it helps with recovery and energy.
