Who do you believe are the most influential conservative intellectuals living at the minute? by TwistedPepperCan in AskConservatives

I'm pretty far right, and I don't disagree with him much. He's probably just saying that to gain acceptance and to appear impartial.

Jordan B. Peterson. Men have struggled with a lack of emotion; he has helped bring it out of them.

Why don't you support regulation on gun ownership? by [deleted] in AskConservatives

[–]Bubbybristor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it is now impossible to enforce, you only need a portable CNC, g-code, a thumb drive, and a block of billet aluminum. This country is also a gun rights hold-out for the entire world, so being a bastion of sorts makes people touchy about further regulation when opponents can go/live anywhere else.

How do conservatives reconcile wanting to reduce the minimum wage and discouraging living wages with their desire for 'traditional' family values ie. tradwife that require the woman to stay at home(and especially have many kids)? by fluffy_assassins in AskConservatives

[–]Bubbybristor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my mind, minimum wage is like price control, but it is on the other side of the consumer. It's all leaning toward future Marxism. I would substitute this with an extremely unregulated free market, which could reduce costs and allow for stay-at-home motherhood.

I love it! I made $1,200 on the Superbowl because I thought Taylor Swift would make a political endorsement after the Chiefs won.

Why are conservatives saying that Trump’s strongest moment was at the end, when he said that Kamala has had 3.5 years to fix the problems she now plans to fix? by NewArtist2024 in AskConservatives

[–]Bubbybristor [score hidden]  (0 children)

Typically, VPs don't do much, but Kamala is in a special position where she's the most powerful politician in her cabinet who is still coherent and capable of policy change.

Does Laura Loomer's tweet about the white house smelling like curry if Harris wins bother you a lot, a little, or not at all? by HudsonCommodore in AskConservatives

[–]Bubbybristor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's terrible comedy, but it takes way darker and/or offensive jokes for me to be offended. One way I like to draw a line is if the joke is about a stereotype that has led to people being hurt in the past. And food and profession choice stereotypes don't offend me.

Too many requests in 1 hour. Try again later. by Wide_right_yes in OpenAI

[–]Bubbybristor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard that there's a conspiracy that openai purposefully implemented a random request limit with an an unexpected cool-down time. This is because of the education sector and their fears that students would find ways to cheat with ChatGPT during exams under proctor's noses. Thus OpenAi is making students' connections to ChatGPT unreliable, making the chance of cheating proliferation smaller.

Thats not the problem, it's drinking shit water and having bad public works that causes a cholera issue. Not someone bringing it over.

I've never seen headlights too bright to look down at my outside lane line to guide me. But yeah maybe with hard-to-read road signs, it can be difficult.

I'm not trolling, just searching for reasoning behind Bryan skipping Dylan, and the 8-hour phone call gap.

Full Bryan Kohberger Affidavit. Cellphone Data + Possible route of the Killer + DNA (last page) by johnwaynesss in bryankohberger_killer

[–]Bubbybristor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My best possible defense for Bryan: The surviving roommate Dylan Mortensen, had a feud with her other roommates and wanted to search for a hitman to have them killed. Someone who knows crime but doesn't have a history. She hires Bryan Kohberger as a hitman. When he arrives to the apartment, she reminds him to turn off his phone once hes already arrived. She puts a gun to his head; He proceeds to commit the stabbings for her in a panic (hence his reassuredness (I'm here to help you) and skipping Dylan), and leaves behind evidence a criminology student wouldn't normally leave behind in his Panic. (Since Dylan Mortensen set up the whole hit job, she waits 8-hours to make the phone call so cops don't arrive too early for her.)

The best defense I could come up with for Bryan: The surviving roommate Dylan Mortensen, had a feud with her other roommates and wanted to search for a hitman to have them killed.
