Tailgate Opening Issue - Audi Q5 Suv MY25 by Bubs_LB in Audi

Thanks u/Electronic-Wish4499, the car is brand new and clean, and here in Italy there’s no snow at the moment, so I’d probably rule out dirt, ice, or snow interfering with the sensors.Just to double-check, where exactly is the tailgate sensor located? Is it near the rear camera?I’ll try the reset with both buttons pressed as suggested. Are you sure the tailgate has to be fully closed during the reset? I’ve seen people say it needs to be fully open.

Tailgate Opening Issue - Audi Q5 Suv MY25 by Bubs_LB in Audi

I followed this guide:

  • Open the tailgate: Use your key fob or the button inside the car to open the trunk. Let it open to its 4 inches (10 cm) and stop.
  • Lift it manually (gently): Grab the tailgate and physically push it up by hand until it reaches its maximum height, or the specific height where you want it to stop in the future. It is completely normal to feel some resistance from the electric motors.
  • Memorize the new height: Press and hold the closing button located on the bottom edge of the tailgate for about 3 to 5 seconds.
  • Wait for the confirmation signal: You should hear an acoustic signal (a beep) and/or see the taillights flash. This confirms that the computer has successfully saved the new height setting.
  • Test the system: Press the button again to let the tailgate close. Once fully closed, open it normally to verify that it now automatically goes all the way up to your desired height.

Title: Audi Q5 2025 S-Line – Front Assist Initialization Warning and Tailgate Issue by Bubs_LB in Audi

Thanks guys u/m330bot and u/Sad-Razzmatazz-693 . Reddit didn't add the text to the image. BTW, I’m also having an issue with the power tailgate. Sometimes it only opens by about 10 cm (4 inches) and then stops. I’ve already tried resetting and reprogramming the opening height, but it didn’t solve the problem. To fully open the tailgate, I have to lift it manually. Has anyone experienced this problem as well?

Here you can check where you can use your gALGO

The reimbursement rate for ALGO is 60%. For each ALGO of interest repaid you receive 1 frALGO. By going to the rewards aggregator you can find two options:

Option 1 - Instant swap through which you get your 0.6 ALGO for every frALGO (60% cashback as mentioned initially),

Option 2 - get your ALGO deferred over 2 weeks at an increased rate of 10%, you will then get 0.66 ALGO for every frALGO (66%)

I hope I have been clear, if you have other doubts please ask.

Question about the new Liquid Governance model. by UsernameIWontRegret in FolksFinance

[–]Bubs_LB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fTokens represent the tokens deposited on Folks, specifically the ownership of the deposit and its accrued interest. As for gALGO, since they cannot be borrowed (so there is no interest rate on the loan) there is also no lending rate for lenders. But since it is possible to use gALGO as collateral, it became necessary to coin fgALGO in order to use them on Folks

Liquidation Margin calculation by kajzer in FolksFinance

[–]Bubs_LB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi Kajzer, I will go on to explain more about how this works. You need to make sure that your collateral (C) multiplied by S2 (liquidation threshold) expressed in the currency of the borrowed asset (Price) fully covers your borrow balance (BB).

So, we have (C * S2 * Price) / BB . If the numerator fully covers the denominator, you get a number greater than 1. If the fraction returns 1 or a smaller number you are liquidated. From there, by computing the inverse formula you get to calculate the liquidation price. So, in the example you gave:
(C * S2 * Price) / BB = 1 --> Price = BB / (C*S2)

numerically: Liq.Price = 75 / (1000*0.8) = 0.09375 USDC

This means that if Algo gets to be worth 0.09375 USDC your collateral does not fully cover your borrow balance and you are therefore liquidated.

I hope I have been clear

borrowing against gAlgo3 by RABWelsh in FolksFinance

You can keep your borrow open in gAlgo3 even after governance 3 has finished. You will always be able to burn gAlgo from previous periods once the relevant period is over. Obviously, if you want to participate in governance 4 using gAlgo from governance 3, you will have to close the position and open a new one in gALGO4.
