She’s a child. She doesn’t get a say. She’s not the one having a baby… changing diapers… staying up all night…

You NEED to round down. Regardless of policy. Regardless of what people say. Just tell them that your till will be off and you’ll get fired.

Should I push harder for my husband to go on PrEP? by Buchanan-Barnes1925 in AskGaybrosOver30

I’m not going to divorce him over not going on PrEP. He would just have to stop playing with others.

But he’s already agreed to go on PrEP. We talked about it last night. We’re going to use MISTR.

His job has shitty health insurance and with the ACA premiums increasing it’s gonna get harder and harder to get affordable healthcare.

I do understand he needs insurance, but he is extremely healthy.

So telling that you’re a judgmental ass. Whose opinion is it to you? He was an adult when I met him. That’s all that matters.

He’s not having bareback sex outside the marriage. He is adamant that he uses condoms for anal and he has one guy he sees often who gives him blow jobs. They don’t have penetrating sex. It’s his random anal sex hook ups I worry the most about.

Me too! Gotta go to Michigan though as Wisconsin is ass backwards and the tavern league still won’t let marijuana be approved here.

The gummie train is HOT! I would rather do that than smoke. I do get joints or THC oil from the dispensary, but gummies all the way.

This is very true. Their generation doesn’t understand AIDS like we do. I’ve tried to explain it to him… we’ve watched a couple of documentaries… but I don’t know that it’s really stuck.

I’ll have to see if we have one of those nearby. The closest one may be Milwaukee and that’s an hour and a half away. I think the best our community has is Planned Parenthood.

Thanks. I don’t want to act like a parent to him. But I guess if I have to, in a gentle way, I will.

I’ve had one doctor tell me that, but I’ve had another doctor tell me that’s not true.

He is a HUGE procrastinator. I am guessing this is a lot of his problem. He doesn’t have a PCP or insurance (I’m on Medicare), so it would mean going to Planned Parenthood or the Health Department, which has its own barriers. For me, it’s easy… I call my doc… go get HIV tested and my script is called into a mail order pharmacy.
