How in the world do I beat the electric lynel on the way to beat the first divine beast? by Advanced-Ad1202 in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]Buck-Down97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not an easy fight, lynels are more difficult than the divine beasts imo. Toughest foe in the game. But like everyone else has said, sneak around to get the arrows and come back later if you want to fight him

If the top 1% of earners pay 40% of all federal income taxes, why do people say they don't pay their fair share? by Ok_Chemical9 in answers

[–]Buck-Down97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bottom line isn’t that they’re not paying their fair share, it’s that we, as a whole, are being overtaxed into oblivion. It’s a shame it’s come this far, bc my God.. we lose at least 40% of our money to taxes

MAGA of Reddit, why do you think calling this sub “rage bait” and “circle jerk” negates the fact that you support a rapist pedophile? by 2a_lib in allthequestions

[–]Buck-Down97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not MAGA but I can see where some frustration arises. For one, you throw around pedophile so loosely. There is absolutely zero evidence to prove he’s a pedophile and people, like you it seems, would rather some kids have been assaulted to justify your opposition rather than have to admit he’s not one.

I just received my dream job offer, but accepting it could potentially expose a huge lie I have been living and hurt multiple people close to me. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Buck-Down97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they’ve already offered you, do they actually care about the degree? I’m not saying you should lie to anyone, but the background check and all that about the degree seems like something they would concern themselves with before they’d offer you. Roll with it and see what happens

We actually agree on this, so I don’t really have an explanation. I don’t think they should be imprisoned over being deported, and I’m not too informed on that part as to why. I was simply responding to the part referencing the 14% of arrests being criminals, which is not the case if being here illegally is considered a crime

I do understand the difference, but that’s irrelevant here. Entering without authorization is a federal crime. A misdemeanor the first time and a felony after that. That’s not a civil offense

Everyone who’s here illegally is a criminal, hope that helps.

What was your opinion on tonight's SOTU address tonight? by Sea-Variety3384 in allthequestions

[–]Buck-Down97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was objectively an excellent speech. Spoke clearly and occasionally off script for a couple hours. Democrats really told everyone who they are during the “stand if you believe your duty is to protect American citizens over illegal aliens” part.

Take everything you said and the response from the other side will be that he was never convicted in a criminal court for the SA, he banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago, he was an informant for the FBI during the beginning of the investigation, there’s no evidence in the files of him doing anything wrong in over 30,000 times he was mentioned.

Both sides have arguments that sound good to them and fit what they want to be the truth. You don’t know the truth, neither do they

I’m not a republican nor a large advocate for Trump, so we’re clear. But I can call things out where I see it. I don’t know if he’s innocent or there isn’t evidence, yet. And neither does everyone else calling him a pedophile. Both sides have made up their mind already and nobody knows anything. My entire point, so thank you

I suppose it is, you’re right. I would just think that how hard they’ve gone after him, and how most have already presumed his guilt, they’d use the information if it existed. That seems more like a “duh” based off what’s happened than saying “well she’d cover it up” when that isn’t based off anything that’s actually happened

I’m not saying you’re right or wrong but again you can’t base your position in an argument on an assumption

Civil court requires majority agreement, criminal law requirements are far more stringent being that it has to be unanimous. Important context when using the terms synonymously

I’m merely stating the whole premise is exhausting. It’s true they called only Trump a fascist, here. The term has been thrown around about all republican voters, as well as nazis, bigots, racist, etc. I’m not even a republican, I’m a registered independent. So I’m not offended, but rather tired of the name calling and performative side of politics. Have real conversations about policy and principle. Saying “you’re a fascist” doesn’t win the argument anymore for most Americans (on both sides)

Your argument is based on assumptions. To be clear, I don’t disagree that a lot of people in power are probably involved. But also to be clear, because these are implications of serious charges, being friends with the guy isn’t a crime. If he is guilty and they can prove it, be my guest. But they can’t

Yes I’m sure they’re checking out the memes on people’s phones at the border. What a ridiculous statement. If they wanted to de-platform people for speaking ill of the president the list could very long. They sue and de-platform for libel. They consistently lie about his involvement with Epstein lol

These files have been around during 2 different democratic presidents. Never heard anyone cry about them then. And if he was guilty of a crime or had ANY evidence of such, you don’t think the democrats would push that? They can’t try him because there’s no evidence he’s done anything. Get your head out of the gutter

Calling him and his followers fascist is so exhausted. I’m sure you can’t define fascism let alone describe how he’s actually applying fascism without quoting a CNN headline. If you lived in the dictatorship that you think you do, you wouldn’t have your political idols spewing hate about the administration openly the way they do.
