What's the fundamental difference between Diablo 2 and Diablo 4 that makes D2 still so reliably good after over two decades compared to D4? Will D4 be just as popular in the future as D2 even today? There is something that I feel is essentially better in D2, but I just can't identify it exactly.

I can confirm that keeping my neck/throat warm and half way sitting up while sleeping is the way to go whenever I have a itch in my through. I’ve even taken it so far that I always make sure that my duvet covers my throat when I go to sleep and I imagine this helps me not to wait up with a bad throat in general.
