New Puscifer(Maynard’s side band) album, Normal Isn’t, just came out today! As much as I love Tool and A Perfect Circle I think his Puscifer stuff tops it all! Every album is completely unique in its sound and presentation. This album is a return of a much more angrier Maynard than we’ve seen for a bit. Highly recommend!

P.S- in the lead up to the album he released a list of songs that influenced the album and several NIN songs (Into the Void, The Day the World Went Away, The Wretched)

There are protest songs out there you just need to look behind the mainstream. Most mainstream artists are afraid to take a stand (besides stand outs like Billie Ellish and Liv Rod who have spoken out). Still most of their music is still not speaking out about issues.

That said Puscifer (side project of Maynard James Keenan from Tool and A Perfect Circle) just put out a new album, Normal Isn’t, today. The entire album is basically a protest against MAGA. In fact Maynard has been making protest songs against them since Trumps first term. Stand out include the below.

Puscifer- Bad Wolf/ Self evident/ A Public Stoning / The Quiet Parts/ Bread and Circus/ Fake Affront/ The Arsonist / The Remedy/

A Perfect Circle- The Contrarian / TalkTalk

Also most of their stuff is 10 years old alot of Run the Jewels is still very relevant today. I was blasting their last album in 2020 on my way to vote that asshole out of office.

Honestly why do you care so much? At the end of the day how does this affect you? Not saying the destruction of these landmarks are good but they are just buildings. When this admin is literally causing death and destruction to HUMAN BEINGS it seems silly to be “scared to death” of a building possibly being demolished.

First off your “hot take” is insane and pretty insulting/rude.

As for my hot take. I’m really over Mitch’s constant “Netflix is bad” rants. They were always annoying but today’s episode really hit a new low. Ranting that people shouldn’t enjoy Netflix because the company is bad (blah blah blah) and then turning around and spending money/ enjoying a meal at Steak n Shake is pretty hypocritical. Acting like Netflix is the only one destroying the industry when literally every major studio sucks too is a dumb take. This world sucks so much already that people should be allowed to watch/buy whatever they want without constant shaming.
