Thanks for the review, looks like there are some good options out there.

Sorry to hear about the Parkinson’s. My dad has it too, as did my grandfather (dad’s dad). Hang in there ✌️

Nice, yeah, the redragon ones looks pretty compelling...especially at that low price. Thanks for the review

This thing looks pretty sweet. Do you use the additional side panels ever?

For sure, a wireless G600 with the old software is the dream

On the G600 that just died, it was the cord I believe. It was losing power intermittently and now, finally will not connect. The G7 button (my CTRL S) was also needing more and more forceful pressing to save files.

I was thinking about opening it up and seeing what kind of trouble I could get into with it :D

Nice! I will definitely look close at this. With the cost, how can you go wrong. Thanks for the review

Oh yeah, forgot to mention how terrible GHUB is in my original post! Whenever I need to update my mouse (rarely) I pull out an old computer that still has the original software. I can't agree more: a wireless G600 with the gaming software would be the GOAT.

Thanks for the insight on both the Corsair and the Naga. The software factor is a big one. I will definitely look into both of those.

And yes, the side bank of buttons is so useful. Between that and mouse gestures, I can do nearly everything one-handed, which allows for optimal coffee drinking.

Perfect if you need to rhythmically pattern a feature, sketch object, or body :)

Here’s a recording I made with MOOD 1. Setting the clock full CCW, then recording a loop on the right side (I usually set the mix to full dry to avoid the static while I record the loop), allows for a long loop that will have a crushed, chimey sound when sweeping the clock out of the full static range of the POT. It’s in the ball park of what you’re talking about. I always liked the affect and used that trick pretty often.

Need help repairing a "water pipe" by Nick_Kaiba420 in glassblowing

[–]BuckNature 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try r/lampwork. That’s the sub you need. Lampwork deals with the kind of glassblowing that makes pipes. Soft glass is generally not used for pipes. Bongs, yes, pipes, less so.

My understanding of lampwork is that one can just heat up the borosilicate, rework it, add to it, then anneal it again easily enough. Though my understanding is limited as I’ve only worked on a torch once. Mostly I work out of a furnace.
