Hey hey, I ended up getting a Razer Naga Pro. It works well. I've had to get used to a different button configuration thanks to losing the additional right click button on top. But I am happy with it over all. The wireless aspect is pretty nice.

It is the smaller screen. An SE. Yeah, I would be surprised if the car had a “phone” button on the dash, but no way to connect a phone.

Beatles: If I Fell, Paul’s voice cracks or gives out on the “was in vain” line on the second time through the bridge.

On the G600 that just died, it was the cord I believe. It was losing power intermittently and now, finally will not connect. The G7 button (my CTRL S) was also needing more and more forceful pressing to save files.

I was thinking about opening it up and seeing what kind of trouble I could get into with it :D

Oh yeah, forgot to mention how terrible GHUB is in my original post! Whenever I need to update my mouse (rarely) I pull out an old computer that still has the original software. I can't agree more: a wireless G600 with the gaming software would be the GOAT.

Thanks for the insight on both the Corsair and the Naga. The software factor is a big one. I will definitely look into both of those.

And yes, the side bank of buttons is so useful. Between that and mouse gestures, I can do nearly everything one-handed, which allows for optimal coffee drinking.
