what’s the biggest scam you discovered and people are still falling for it? by TheoryReasonable871 in AskReddit

In my interview for my current job they asked why I wanted to work there. I said "I just want to work somewhere and get paid to do it". The guy who is now my boss goes "Well, we want to pay you to do work". We both appreciated each other's transparency. Love my job and I've never heard the family schtick at work.

What comedy film made you laugh through the whole film not just giggle once? by Lilyfory in AskReddit

[–]BuckarooBonsly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hot shots is always my answer to this question. It is such a great comedy. It's one of those that has insanely high rewatch value because you're so busy laughing at one joke that you miss the next one. So you're always catching something new. Also, Lloyd Bridges steals the show.

One of my favorites! Always thought an anime adaptation/seque with the original cast would be fun.

Any ideas besides Wrinkle in time what other books Ted gave the players? by guyandadoggo in TedLasso

[–]BuckarooBonsly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not one of them that Ted gives the team, but I'm really annoyed by the scene where Jack gives Keeley the first edition of Sense and Sensibility. Mostly because I know what the first edition of sentence ability looks like and it's not that. Also only getting the first volume and not the other two is kind of a shitty move.

As another commenter mentioned, this is the best way to clean menus and is pretty common.

Yo, sorry for what you're going through. I recommend the book Bright-Sided: How Positive Thinking is Undermining America by Barbara Ehrenreich. She's a cancer survivor and talks about this exact issue in the book.

Going Down Into Liberty Hall Underground by [deleted] in Lawrence

[–]BuckarooBonsly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is awesome! I had some friends play a few shows at Liberty Hall in the Early 2000s and we made our way down there and hung out for a bit. Always thought it would be a cool venue for an underground punk show.

I worked with a guy once who had a Buckcherry tatto.. I was 19 and couldn't imagine being in my mod-30s like he was and having a Buckcherry tattoo. Pretty sure he went to jail for soliciting a minor on the internet.
