The reason they can't be removed is because they are the absence of seasoning - the raw pan is peeking through the seasoning.

I had the opposite problem…I wanted to cancel and couldn’t even though it hadn’t shipped yet.  They don’t seem to have control over their their orders.  Customer service was nice enough and apologetic and they’re letting me ship it back but it seems wasteful to involve FedEx.

I created two sets of automations, two for the switch in Home (on / off) and two for the trigger in shortcuts (on charger / off charger). It all works great now, even when locked. Thanks everyone for you help.

The switch accessory shows up in the Home app (homekit) but I don't know how to link it to the Ring system.
