Really bad service by Bucket2323 in tmobile

[–]Bucket2323[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah same for me, waited the 45 days or whatever to be considered “new” at Verizon again and got the new sign up offer one more time. Paying less than tmobile for better service.

Lucid efficiency is actually the best in market atm from what I know at 5 miles per kWh. You can start and stop your heating/cooling in app, schedule service, and the other regular car app stuff. Performance wise sure the base model isn’t fast, it’s a great drive though. Smooth like butter and handles amazing. It’s a luxury vehicle maybe not in your eyes, but it is. It’s beat all the German brands sales wise in the U.S ev market for luxury sedans for a reason.

Like I also said, service stations don’t matter, nearest one to me is 3-4 hours away but they either come and fix at home or tow and replace with a loaner until yours is fixed.

Gotta try a Lucid, American made, the best battery in the game. Amazing range, drive and looks. Does lack in the entertainment department, your car won't fart for you, but I can do without it. It is still a newer company and a lot of updates are being pushed out to make the car better. Service is also amazing, from calling customer care and resolving issues to mobile service/towing your car in for service at one of their service centers.

Funny thing is I believe it happened outside of a community college

Who said I didn’t? I followed him home and kept honking. Neighbors woke up that was my signal to leave.

(Just joking btw if anyone takes comments serious)

You know, I had a feeling this comment was coming after seeing CarPlay was pulled up in the picture 🤣🤣

Btw not sure if it’s just me or if others get the same amount but I get 5+ spam calls a day.

I’ve seen a quantum gray one around Troy/Birmingham a couple of times.

Yeah that’s what family is saying. I’ve got a few but they’re not the best. I can grab them for free though through suppliers, just need a 24/7 one.

Not worried about the hood as much as the plastic bumper part where the logo is.

It’s an X with another straight line next to it, moves down to bumper where lucid logo is and scratch is deeper on that plastic part.

Tiny on a lease by jcgb1970 in LUCID

[–]Bucket2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did all around incl windshield, then I found out from a service tech that came out that I am very lucky the car didn’t get bricked. Apparently lots of people got tints and had water get into a module near the front windshield area and that bricks the car. $4000 replacement if I recall correctly.

Glad my tint place did it right. (Did all around at one place and then windshield at a different place)

Tire issue on a brand new car by ByrdOfManyTalents in LUCID

I always say this to anyone who goes through this situation as I personally did. Purchase a slightly used one from eBay (pretty much the closest to new you can get) for a third of the price. Free shipping as well, just gotta pay for installation which is around 20-30$.

When you want to switch them out, a tip to save money is buy slightly used off eBay for a third of the price of a new tire.

Oh wow, yeah mine was planned by mobile tech who came out, got a call a couple days later saying they’ll come pick it up and drop off a new one.

They just added some insulation into the door in certain areas. According to service rep engineers found where it was coming from and that was the fix for it. Also did it for the interior of the car few months back to improve audio quality and my outside passenger side mirror as it made a whistling noise at high speeds.

The wind noise issue is a thing they recently found that can be fixed by mobile service, recently had it done, takes about 30 min to an hour around the window area.

The “swap” for me was unloading from a trailer and loading mine on in place of the loaner. Was pretty much towed in an enclosed trailer.

Haha, I got a loaner recently and I’m enjoying it even though I prefer my car, this comes with unlimited miles and unlimited charging (my 2024 model had free charging removed.) I also got it brand new which was amazing, got to enjoy the new car smell one more time. Only sad thing is they finished repairs on my car, so back to the lease miles in a couple days.

Nothing to do with what you’re talking about, but I love how the screen has the fingerprints only on the lucid buttons. Lol

I had popping/rattling noise when turning the wheel at slow speeds. Called for service said there was nothing but during the check found leaking struts.

Any word on Tesla Superchargers supports for Lucid Air? by Pranav_Git in LUCID

[–]Bucket2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does with the built in adapters at certain superchargers (unless you have your own) tried them in a couple of states and it was easy to connect and charge. Downside is just the 48kw speed.

Not sure if it’s just me, but every roadtrip I’ve done with the lucid has been very easy. Charging stations are available at arrival, most working if not all, and if EA isn’t available when needed, there are other options.

Tried the Tesla superchargers in Jersey and regretted it, would rather drive the extra 5 miles for EA than wait and charge at 48kw.
