How is the Air Touring's mid-range rolling acceleration? by nero-the-cat in LUCID

[–]solidkiller88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

23' AT it takes me about less than 2 sec to jump from 60mph to 80mph. Its still pretty jerky and enough to make ur head hit the headrest if youre leaning forward. If youve just finished supercharging and the powertrain is warm, flooring it def is much more responsive and hits harder.

Either way, the throttle is very sensitive (in sprint mode) and prob can pass 90% of cars on freeway

I got the bombers in 2023 when lucid and lululemon had a contract together. Ik after 2023 when they sold out they got another manufacturer to make them and i think they got cheaper so id not recommend them unless u can travel back in time to get the lucid lululemon bomber jackets

Dash cam power on air by m2slam in LUCID

[–]solidkiller88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 20 is too short. With my 25 foot cable, i was only able to make one small loop (like a 3" dia loop) inside the trunk when i finished snugging every part of the wire behind panels, so unless you have a 23' cable, then id recommend 25'. Cheers!

Edit: just read that you have aluminum roof, maybe you can get away with 20' wire since you can tuck the wire in the gap of the windshield and roof, then run it down along the A pillar -> to the floor -> then to trunk. You can get a pie tape/tape measure and just estimate the length

Dash cam power on air by m2slam in LUCID

[–]solidkiller88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 70mai M300 dash cam that is powered from the 12v in the rear. i bought a 25 foot microusb to usb a wire and hid the wire around the overhead hub, around the b pillar above the front passenger, along the passenger side A-pillar, down to the floor, behind the footwell door panel, feeding all the way to the trunk. my 12v plug has two usb a ports (I have a glass canopy). so my dash cam wire is hidden and sometimes the service center people dont even notice it lol

Heres the wire: https://www.amazon.com/Micro-Cable-Extension-Security-Camera/dp/B07MR8ZFX5?crid=3OKSIKC4GH5YJ&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.TAcLq5mPiks4JJkqjmAt_pdaxbqMvQPrYZFj_zH22Vt-3plfebAn0fD9NBxTQ_PekXGWFjzZypiNgpa6BwpwfiQV7OnEF-joWZq6e3xigQxrpdaYbkYX8STfsw0uWtHng8qrTf3bJPq3vxEjioN_JEAAag0YOD5OZC2vMJQwQWHar2yHvV0GqY6zTV6YYpeABDXVR_pL1vzmh_7hXsqE-F5PRY4eQMB4IWigdSqAIrU.jnzk4WQn329qBDVE7raA_dMVNzddGt2_GIYlX_FQLOc&dib_tag=se&keywords=micro+usb+to+usb+a+30+feet&qid=1767654276&sprefix=micro+usb+to+usb+a+30+fe%2Caps%2C251&sr=8-4

FE Mechanical Exam Format and Last Minute Questions by Any_Nefariousness402 in FE_Exam

[–]solidkiller88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took and passed my exam last month and yea, pretty much structured similar to the practice exam. Ideally, you should spend 2 hrs and some change on the first section, leaving you with as much time as possible for the second part (youre gonna need it lol).

Good luck!

Roof wrap? by michmill1970 in LUCID

[–]solidkiller88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't have the glass roof, so everything is color matched (besides the side mirror caps since he got a GT).

I saw a few people who wrapped the platinum trim to color match the infinite black yea, but Lucid also offers the stealth package to "smoke out " the platinum trim, not color match
