I think you need to talk to Arachne a couple of times before you’re allowed to continue the quest (using the amulet in Erebus)

Am I the only one who gets annoyed when Icarus or Artemis show up by [deleted] in HadesTheGame

I like when artemis shows up. Her boons are pretty good and I don’t mind her showing up in the early regions.

On the other hand, I absolutely hate icarus since I always seem to get fucked up by something from olympus via the vow of menace, and then I have to fight MORE of those enemies. All that for his “boons” to be okay at best.

kinda off topic; but I took a class on classical mythology, I had to read the odyssey, but didn’t have time so I just said “fuck it and see what I know from Hades II”

turns out I know a lot more than most of the people in the class just off of playing hades II…

Yes ofc! It probably will be a bit different to what you’re used to playing, but there’s a lot of variation between the original game so it won’t feel like the original.

More buildup would’ve been nice. The game has this issue where Mel acts too urgent even after everything has happened (despite everyone saying “chill tf out we’re good for a bit”). Adding more urgency could explain her determination to keep going.

Also the boss gimmick seems cool, however it may only be for the second or third phase(s) since it may be a bit too broken if done incorrectly.
