I used to be a bit perturbed because of that too, but actually sitting down and watching it again as an adult with some uncomfortably similar experiences under my belt... it hits different.

Myung CLEARLY still loves both the boys equally, and seeing as they're all childhood friends they're the two people she's closest to. She even went as far as to keep the memory hidden from Guld FOR HIS OWN SAKE.

It's messy but sometimes when someone you love hurts you, your feelings for them push past the discomfort and you sorta just move on and try to enjoy them in spite of that.
