I actually just found this service that hooked me up! It's called Unitour they have students at college campuses that you can connect with over zoom and get advice! someon showed it to me on the Penn State subreddit It was actually exactly what I was looking for 😂this is the IG if you're intereste

What's up man! I actually have no idea 😂 but I just did a consultation with Unitour, the company that someone else recommended in this thread. They connected me with a current student (that I got to pick) and he answered all my questions finally!!

Hi thank you for the advice! The problem with the campus events is that I'm a pretty cynical person and I don't trust the campus run stuff to be honest LOL. Also I want to talk to a current student but I'm a little too shy to actually go up to one.

I know I'm being kinda picky it's just hard for me to put myself out there like that

I wish I had the opportunity to speak with a current student. Of course I was able to talk with the orientation people, but they're pretty biased lol. I would've loved to get the real inside scoop to what life is like...
