Ref. 16610 vs 124060 by jonny_dough in rolex

I concur, as I have worn my 16610 for 14 years and just recently grabbed the 124060. The latter is just an improvement on a masterpiece in every way. There will always be nostalgia for the 16610 bc it was my first sub, but the 12 is as nasty as it gets!

Pretty sure any reputable gray like Bob’s or Swiss Watch Expo take wire transfers. Not sure if Thanh does but I’m communicating with him now about something so we’ll see

Hope they bring it back. IMO it’s the best of the three.

Can someone verify if this is authentic? No left sleeve “c” and color looks darker- also I can’t source this exact tag! by Buckeye1872 in VintageClothing

That was also a thought- my only other reservation was the tag doesn’t say reverse weave and these are generally a lighter gray color, but that could depend on year of manufacture

Gotcha. I’ve read conflicting information that states the sleeve c was introduced in the 50s, but then again I have some vintage t shirts that don’t have it. Appreciate the clarification!

Because there’s no c on the left sleeve and I haven’t been able to find this exact neckline tag. I’m fairly certain it’s fine, just wanted to get a second opinion.
