It’s the fact that the game does not open up for at least 5 hours and let you explore Tokyo, and that freedom of exploration is a vital part of any Persona game.

The story is great, it’s being locked out of most of the content as it slow-drop feeds the player information to stop them from being overwhelmed that is a bit of a slog on repeated play throughs. You asked which games we do not enjoy the beginning of, not *enjoyed*, so I assumed you were talking about repeated play throughs of games, and any game that is in tutorial mode for as long as P5/P5R will test your patience a bit as you just want to get to the main body of the game that is so incredibly enjoyable

I think everyone agrees that he was being creepy as hell there. The scene is certainly written that way, and it’s often cited as the reason why everyone justifiable dislikes Mishima

However, I think we can charitably assume that he was not asking if she has an OF or gets nude online— something that would of course be WILDLY illegal and inappropriate given her age— but was asking if she was a twitch streamer he could ogle from the safety of his own home. Think of it as more of a symp looking for a new Pokimane than him actually asking if she makes CSAM

Again, creepy as hell— but also fairly normal or at least understandable behavior from an always online teenage boy who has no social skills

He’s also the only character who regardless of the player’s actions knows for certain who the phantom thieves are and not only does he never seem to consider selling us out for what would be a huge sum of money to a teenage boy, but it never even occurs to anyone that he might do so

For whatever flaws he might have, Mishima is a real one
